Mission Statement
The Homeschool Place is located in sunny Pinellas County, Florida, and is owned and operated by the Erickson's. We are a Christian homeschooling family and have homeschooled for the past 8 years.
We provide many educational products for those who choose to home educate, and for those looking for additional choices to supplement their teaching. Please feel free to browse through our other Educational Links.
Our goal is to honor God by providing wholesome products that will meet the needs of your students, and you, as the teacher.
Please use this formula to determine when your order will arrive: For the scheduled days in transit for ground packages shipped within the 48 contiguous states, try using the Time Transit Calculator - courtesy of UPS.com. USPS: All packages shipped by USPS will include tracking. Note, at the present time USPS tracking only includes 2 scans; one when the package is taken to the post office and one when the package is delivered. There is not typically any scans when the package is in route. FIRST CLASS MAIL RATES: Post office quotes 2-3 day service to most locations for First Class Mail. We use bubble pack envelopes for our 1st class mail orders. We can typically ship up to 3 jewel case products or up to 2 DVD style packages via 1st class mail. All 1st class mail packages include tracking. 1st class mail can be used for packages up to 0.81 lbs. Anything over that is sent priority mail. UPS: UPS shipping is very reliable with door to door tracking. Shipping cost to residential addresses will typically be more for smaller packages than USPS and less costly for packages 3 pounds or more. If you are shipping a higher dollar value order, we recommend UPS ground with signature required for maximum safety. We offer ground, 3-day select, 2nd day, and overnight options. Shipping Policy
Processing Time + Shipping Time + Shipping Method = Total Delivery Time
Processing Time: Orders received between Monday and Friday are usually processed the same day or by the end of next business day. Orders received on Saturday and Sunday are usually processed by Monday or by close of business day Tuesday.
Orders Usually Ship in 24 - 72 Hours
Items that are in stock and ready to go usually ship 24 to 72 hours after your order is placed. Tracking information, when available, will be E-mailed to you. We do not ship on Saturday, Sunday, or Holidays. Please allow an additional 24 to 48 hours for weekend orders.
Shipment Time: (The time between ordering a product and that product leaving our warehouse) depends on stock availability *. If there will be a delay of more than 72 hours in picking and shipping your order, or if your item is on backorder, we will notify you via E-mail. (* Please read these explanations of shipping times according to stock availability)

UPS Ground, 2 Day Air, and Next Day Air Saver deliver Monday - Friday.
USPS delivers Monday - Saturday

Backorders will be shipped as soon as possible via best method. If paying by check, please make your check payable to Global Specialty Imports, Inc. Your order will be processed once your payment has been recieved & has cleared the bank. Please be advised that there is a $25.00 return check fee for any check returned by the bank for any reason. If your check is returned, your order will be put on hold until payment can be adequately made by another means (Money Order, Cashier's Check, or Active Credit Card). Please Note: Fraudulent orders will be reported to the FBI, as well as appropriate Fraudlent Check and/or Credit Card Bureaus. FOR YOUR PROTECTION, ALL ORDERS MUST BE SIGNED FOR BY INDIVIDUAL PLACING ORDER. Please note that charges to your credit card will appear as "Global Specialty Imports, Inc." Florida residence will be charged sales tax.

Privacy Statement
The Homeschool Place is committed to protecting your privacy! We never sell, rent or lend your personal information, but we must obtain certain information in the process of doing business. We use this personal information to process orders, reply to inquiries, provide operational notices, in program record keeping and occasionally to e-mail special product offers, which may include preferred customer discounts, free samples, etc.
We require address information for billing and shipping, as well as name, state, phone number (including area code, in case we have a question about your order), email, and credit card information from individuals purchasing from The Homeschool Place.
Any time you wish to be removed from our e-mail list, simply contact us at The Homeschool Place and request that your e-mail address be removed.
A NOTE TO MINORS: Anyone under the age of 18 should have a parent or guardian place an order for them. The Homeschool Place does not intentionally collect information from or about minors. Your information is safe with us. We use 128-bit encryption (SSL 2.0) the highest level of encryption currently available. Therefore, any information sent from your browser to the server you are connected to, is encrypted or scrambled, making it impossible to intercept or steal information on the way.
